First, I would like to introduce myself and give a brief story about my website.
My name is kathy Vierthaler. I’m a Nurse, Mom, and wife. During my last pregnancy, I had a hard time finding skin care products. I kept asking myself if a lotion was safe, did an oil use harmful chemical, and will the scrub irritate my skin. I heard the same thing from friends and family who were also pregnant. That’s why I created my skincare products using every day, natural, and organic ingredients. I used family recipes that were passed down f
or generations not only to myself but also to my baby. They helped us sleep, relax, stay calm, and look beautiful. After
receiving reviews from friends, family, and
patients on my skin and the constant requests to try it themselves, I decided to start to SWOB IT! Natural Skincare.

Why do we want to help customers understand skincare?
People do not have the day and time to read everything on a product or even on a website. So, I decide to assist with that. Helping customers understand what goes on their skin is important to me.
The largest organ humans have is our skin. Therefore, whatever we put on our skin is very important. Products such as body, scrub, body lotion, body colognes, and even perfume
may contain phthalates and other chemicals that can cause your skin more harm than good. Not everyone is aware of ingredients that are bad for you, and not everyone wants to sit for minutes even hours to just screen products all day. So what we have done so far is focus more on natural and organic skincare products that are free of harmful chemicals. We are not skincare experts but we do take out time to carefully research our product. I will be sharing my knowledge and research with my customer periodically because I care so much about what we do. Here are some tips for better-looking skin and youthful-looking skin.
Why Add Low carb diet to your skincare routine
I think we have all heard of a low-carb diet or keto at some point. It has been very popular over the years but what people don’t know is how the diet reverses premature aging. According to the American Academy of Dermatology, one thing that can age you naturally and fast is not eating a healthy diet or a well-balanced diet. Diets that are high in carbs, especially refined carbs, and sugar can accelerate the aging process. Now, let's talk about how adding a low-carb diet to your skincare routine will help your appearance or improve your skin health. Some common food to eat that are natural carbs will be Grains, fruits, vegetables, milk, nuts, seeds, and legumes, such as peas, beans, and lentils. Low-carb diet food will be avocados, cheese, butter, eggs, grass-fed-meat and staying away from carbs like bread, wheat or rice almost entirely. Whatever your preference might be, it all works to keep you healthy and glowing. All you need to do is follow all instruction and do it right.
What does a low-carb diet do and how your body respond to it?
Low carb diet is like an Anti-inflammatory diet. By cutting back or eliminating simple carbs, you are targeting the body's excess inflammation which can cause acne as well. When you lower inflammation in the body, you can see this in your skin as feeling more radiant, less red, and less congested. Dermatology in Texas (Jennifer Gordon, MD) states “although it seems counterintuitive to eat more fats and fewer carbohydrates for clearer skin, that’s exactly how keto may help improve your complexion — provided you’re cutting back on the right carbs and upping your intake of the right fats.”
If you already have radiant skin from a well-balanced diet, you don’t need to spend hundreds of dollars on all these skincare products to help with that. You will probably save a lot of money, have a very simple skincare routine, and also save your skin from the harmful chemicals in the product that you might not be aware of.
Low carb diet has always been my and my family's diet whenever we need to fix any acne problem, get rid of body weight, medical reasons, or an occasion that needs some proper dress fitting. You do not need expensive skincare to look good or feel good about your skincare. I think the better way to have radiant skincare is to work on the inflammation in your body. Not only does a low-carb diet help with beautiful skin, but it also aids in your health or well-being in general.
Other things can also contribute to skin aging prematurely. Some are sun, self-tanning, smoking, alcohol, repetitive facial expression, not exercising, and not cleaning your face gently. However things that may help improve the appearance of your skin includes; washing your face twice a day, applying a facial moisturizer every day, and avoiding skincare products that damage your skin barrier.
